Cause: The card used is too thick or the embossing is too high, which is not satisfactory. It is blocked by the gate when exiting.
Treatment method: Use a magnetic card that conforms to the standard.
2. Faults phenomenon: The receipt printer can only return paper but not feed paper, resulting in ATM not being able to provide external services. Flow prompt: ADVISED PRINTER INOPERATIVE.
Cause: Some debris is caught in the printing channel or paper feeding channel.
Treatment method:Clear the debris in the printer, and perform functions in the "CODE" state to initialize the printer.
3. Faults phenomenon: Receipt or running printing paper does not work normally after being fed. The diagnosis and inspection indicates: "PAPER OUT".
Cause:
(1) The printing paper is too narrow and cannot be sensed by the "PAPER EXHAUST" sensor.
(2) "PAPER EXHAUST" sensor sensitivity is out of range or damaged.
Treatment method:
(1) Check if the paper width meets the requirements, otherwise replace it.
(2) Use a thick piece of paper in the middle of the sensor for diagnosis. If the "PAPER OUT" prompt still appears, the sensor is damaged and needs to be replaced. If the "PAPER OUT" prompt does not appear, the sensor sensitivity is too high. The transparent paper is attached to the sensor side until it can be sensed normally.
(3) Request repair service from the NCR service center.
4. Failure phenomenon:thermal printer can feed paper but cannot print
Cause:
(1) Thermal customers reverse the receipt.
(2) The thermal print head is disconnected.
(3) The thermal print head has failed.
Treatment method:
(1) Install the thermal paper correctly.
(2) Connect the cable (PCB-J2). If the cable is disconnected at the print head, the entire printing part must be replaced.

5. Faults phenomenon:The prints overlap at the same position.
Cause:
(1) The stepping paper feed motor is disconnected or has failed.
(2) A foreign object is stuck on the paper feed roller.
(3) The specifications of the paper and the printer cannot match.
Treatment method:
(1) Check if the motor connector (PCB-J5) is disconnected. If it is invalid, it must be replaced.
(2) Clean the paper feed roller.
(3) Use the correct paper size.
6. Faults phenomenon: Flow printing appears nonstop.
Cause:
(1) Communication failure, caused by an error message from the mainframe.
(2) The self-test error of the flow printer during paper change.
Treatment method:
(1) Contact the machine staff.
(2) Reset the machine.
7. Faults phenomenon: ATM can provide external services, but there is no cash withdrawal function, the flow prompt "DISPENSER INOPERATIVED".
Cause: There is debris stuck in the cash-out module.
Treatment method: Check the banknote exit channel, remove the jammed banknotes or debris, and perform the supervisory state function to verify whether it returns to normal.
8. Faults phenomenon: The machine indicates that the channel of the cash-out module is blocked.
Cause:
(1) Foreign objects such as paper scraps are trapped in the channel of the banknote dispensing module.
(2) There is too much dust accumulation in the sensor of the cash-out module channel.
(3) The sensor in the channel of the banknote dispensing module is damaged.
Treatment method:
(1) Remove foreign objects in the channel.
(2) Wipe the sensor clean so that it can sense normally.
(3) Replace the sensor.
9. Faults phenomenon: ATM stops external service, and the pipeline prompts: "NO POLL FROM ATMP, CAN NOT TRANSMIT" or "TRANSMIT KEY ERROR".
Cause:
(1) The host has not issued a poll.
(2) TRANSMIT KEY is not synchronized.
Treatment method:
(1) Contact the host computer to request polling.
(2) Perform functions under the operator menu and request TRANSMIT KEY again.
10.Faults phenomenon: the machine often appears in the business process "the suspension of external business screen.
Cause: The communication failure between the machine and the host computer may be caused by a long communication line or a telecommunications bureau.
Treatment method: Contact the personnel in the computer room and negotiate.
11. Faults phenomenon: ATM can provide external services, and the user keyboard and function keys are prone to no response during use.
Cause: The elasticity of the above-mentioned keyboard film is weakened, and it cannot spring up after being pressed and released, resulting in a short circuit deadlock.
Treatment method: replace the keyboard film.
